This year's REMF match is fast-approaching - with Albion fans going head to head with arch rivals Crystal Palace on Friday May 2.
Since it was launched, the REMF has raised more than £120,000 for a host of football clubs and sporting charities.
Earlier this month the REMF confirmed two new grants of £5,000 to a pair of African football charities and previous donations have included funding a £30,000 mini bus for the Seagulls Specials, a sponsorship package for the Albion’s power chair team, kit and equipment to local junior clubs and £3,000 to Coaching For Hope, a charity which uses football to support young Aids victims in Cambodia.
The highlight of each year’s fundraising effort is a hotly-contested match between Seagulls fans and Crystal Palace supporters at Lewes FC’s Dripping Pan stadium.
This year’s match takes place on Friday May 2, with kick off at 7.45pm. Entry is £5 for adults or £2 for under 16s (or free if accompanied by an adult).
All proceeds go to the REMF and there will also be a raffle, refreshments and a bar.
The Brighton players are busy collecting sponsorship and anyone who would like to donate can do so online at www.justgiving.com/remfmatch2014.
The game usually attracts a crowd of more than 400 and previous cameo appearances have come from the likes of Albion legend Peter Ward and former Brighton manager and current Gillingham boss Peter Taylor.
A spokesman for the REMF said: “This event is always an enjoyable evening and I would recommend it to anyone who has not been before.
“There is a friendly, family atmosphere and all are welcome.”
